Japan university students visit JFPR livelihood project

Kwansei Gakuin University students with Prof. Masakazu Sakaguchi visited on 31 August, Southville 7, Bayan ni Juan Resettlement site in Calauan, Laguna where about 6,000 families were relocated from Metro Manila’s waterways and slum areas. These families are beneficiaries of Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction‘s Promoting Partnerships and Innovation in Poor and Underserved Communities approved in 2012. Calauan Vice Mayor Sanchez, National Housing Authority officials, and ABS-CBN Foundation staff welcomed the delegation, including Japan ED Advisor Hidemasa Fukuda.
